Why is it, while you are living through history, actual history being made, it is exhausting?
Yesterday I was a cat-on-a-hot-tin-roof: I simply couldn’t focus on anything. Painting, drawing, and writing were simply things I really wanted to do, but the energy simply wasn’t there. The telephone ringing made me jump and the dogs were just ‘too close’ for me to feel comfortable.
The two camps have their line concreted into the ground. It must have been easier during the War Between The States because the population was so wide spread. Now everything happens in our living rooms, libraries, etc. There really isn’t an opportunity to take a break from the propaganda from both sides.
“Turn your TV, tablet, computer off, you say?” How can you be far warned if you bury your head in the nothing?
Sometimes it feels as though I’m picking up on the stress of the county and people around me. There really is tension in the very air, and I am afraid of what is going to happen when the bubble bursts.
