Shuddering Into Place

Hello all!  I hope the holidays were great for you. I got sick on Christmas Day – before opening presents at least – and seem to keep fighting off some sickness or other.  For the past couple of days, it has been a headache.  I am not going to call this headache a migraine because it hasn’t reached the pain level of my normal migraines.  Yes, it can turn into a migraine in the blink of an eye, but, so far, thank You God, it hasn’t.

There is so much on the To-Do List!  Sleeper finally getting typed up, a re-write/re-working of an earlier science fiction novel of mine, a book of poetry, and drawing are all on the list.  Even though it is just the 9th day of the month, I already feel like I am getting behind, but it is just a feeling and not the truth.  This year I do not want to push myself further into burn-out.  Sleeper was difficult enough, I need this particular phase of its growth to go just a little more smoothly than last year.

About Henrietta Handy

I have returned home to the mountains. No more am I "a mountain-girl far from home." Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 2 1/2, I understand pain, fatigue, laughter, joy, and love all while on crutches and in wheelchairs. This blog is just about me, mostly the writing side, but there are forays into so many different topics. I am married to a wonderful husband who puts up with my writing, knitting, yarn, with the love of a saint. We have fur babies, and one cat who rules us all.
