A Monday

It is raining.  It has rained off and on all day.  This afternoon the sky was a cold white-gray, reminiscent of fall.  This evening, the clouds came down, spreading a ghostly mist around the hills.

It was gloriously spooky!  *squee!*

My niece came for a visit today and helped me work on the craft room.  Things needed moving, arranged so there was more floor space in the center of the room so it would be much easier to maneuver the old wheels.  Plus, I am feeling well enough to want to do crafts and more writing.  Having the craft room usable again makes me very happy.

Also, the thought of writing doesn’t feel like a chore now.  Thank goodness!  I look forward to putting down words, though I still have to make myself pick up the pen.  Why is it something I love to do so hard to do, i.e. set aside time to for it?

About Henrietta Handy

I have returned home to the mountains. No more am I "a mountain-girl far from home." Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 2 1/2, I understand pain, fatigue, laughter, joy, and love all while on crutches and in wheelchairs. This blog is just about me, mostly the writing side, but there are forays into so many different topics. I am married to a wonderful husband who puts up with my writing, knitting, yarn, with the love of a saint. We have fur babies, and one cat who rules us all.
