Adam West: TV Batman actor dies at 88.

There is part of my childhood forever linked with the Batman television series.  It made me laugh and giggle, and was one of two shows I introduced my niece and nephew to as early as possible, along with Scooby-Doo.  Watching it with them made the show new again and even better.

Youth does not remain with us, but some memories are genuinely precious.  Stars, entertainers, don’t understand the impact they make on regular lives; or, they take it too far and expect to be praised.  And sometimes they get angry because us plain ol’ people don’t see them, we see their characters.

Rest in peace, Adam West.  You are loved and will be missed.
