Forward Slow, Mr. Sulu

Things ain’t right, but when has that ever stopped me.

Saturday I tried playing a video game called Warframe, yeah, the same one I mentioned before.  I was playing the game and my head and stomach just felt weird; I then woke up two hours later, not remembering falling asleep and still feeling tired.  Exhausted.  It was so bad of an exhaustion my stomach, body felt ill.  Luckily, I was already in bed and decided to simply remain there for the rest of the day.  Sunday the arthritis kicked in and I spent another day in bed sleeping off and on the rest of the day.  The Husband woke me up around Midnight last night to remind me to take the evening meds, which I did, and then went promptly back to sleep.

Today I made it up with The Husband while he was preparing to go to work and have remained upright and awake!  Score!  I believe a part of yesterday’s problem is I was unable to keep to the schedule of the medicine I’m on for seizures – to keep them away.  When that medicine and the muscle spasm medicine get taken too close together and without food – I had no appetite yesterday whatsoever – there is sometimes anesthetic properties.  (There was even some Elder Scrolls played before getting the day thoroughly begun.)

So, the main plan for today is to work on more of the short story collection.  One of the short stories creeped me out, and I’m the writer!  It isn’t finished…yet.  I am hoping it will be done today.  I am very curious to see which way it is going to end.  I am in control, but sometimes it’s fun just to see how a story will conclude if left just a little unattended.  The creepy part I manipulated, of course, but I really didn’t expect it to be so unsettling once it was done!  Squee!

OK – enough of a break.  Back to work.  🙂

About Henrietta Handy

I am a Kentucky mountain girl far from home, perhaps far from the girl years. I am an aspiring writer with a wonderful husband who puts up with this writing and reading addiction I have. He also puts up with all of the yarn and knitting. I have four canine children and a ton of friends I love dearly. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 2 1/2 and have still managed to have a good life despite all the pain. So, I invite you to join me in this journey and just possibly have fun along the way.

I never thought of writing something so scary it creeps me out. That makes sense now that you shared.
