A Monday PLUS A Strange Brain/Medicine Day

Today was most definitely a Monday because things didn’t work out the way they needed.  The dogs got out of the yard – everyone came home safely.  Sniffles and I were not prepared for this particular adventure!  Unfortunately, Animal Control became involved so there is more to do other than relax, which iis what we were sort of hoping for.

In other news, I’ve begun a new medicine for seizures/muscle spasms.  The doctors aren’t decided which it is, but, what little research I was able to manage today, says the medicine is mostly used for seizures but can also be used for serious muscle spasms.  Hopefully, when I speak with the seizure specialist, there will be a better picture and idea of what is going on.  However, I’m really going to be glad when my body and brain are adjusted to the new medicine.

The new medicine, when combined with some of the other meds, make me very sleepy.  The combination also makes it difficult to think until the medication is firmly in my system.  Thinking slower is not something I accept easily, as you know.  Since I am recovering from whatever happened last Wednesday, and the subsequent hospital stay, I haven’t been overly concerned and am going to try to keep that particular concern down to manageable levels.

The dreams I’m having are definitely fodder for future stories! πŸ˜πŸ™ˆπŸ™‰πŸ™ŠπŸ’ƒπŸ‘€πŸ‘

About Henrietta Handy

I am a Kentucky mountain girl far from home, perhaps far from the girl years. I am an aspiring writer with a wonderful husband who puts up with this writing and reading addiction I have. He also puts up with all of the yarn and knitting. I have four canine children and a ton of friends I love dearly. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 2 1/2 and have still managed to have a good life despite all the pain. So, I invite you to join me in this journey and just possibly have fun along the way.
