Quickly Now, Because It Hurts To Type Much

Tuesday, 5/31/16 was on a city bus which stopped quite hard.

Slid 3/4 out of my wheelchair.

No broken bones, but extremely sore and pained.

Sat in the ER for 6.5 hours for them to say the above.  They refused me pain medication or really to do anything for me.  They even ignored signs of shock.  It was my hospital, the one I normally go to.  Yes, I am a little angry about that.

The hospital treated me like a drug seeker instead of an injured person the entire time I was there.

Something is wrong with my left leg and left elbow.  Trying to find a time I can go see my doctor for more tests.

About Henrietta Handy

I am a Kentucky mountain girl far from home, perhaps far from the girl years. I am an aspiring writer with a wonderful husband who puts up with this writing and reading addiction I have. He also puts up with all of the yarn and knitting. I have four canine children and a ton of friends I love dearly. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 2 1/2 and have still managed to have a good life despite all the pain. So, I invite you to join me in this journey and just possibly have fun along the way.

  1. I hope you’re healing. I am a chronic pain patient (with disability) so I know exactly what you’re going through with the medical services. Hang in there and let me know how you’re going, when you’re able.
