‘Puters And Pain

The pain is not related to ‘puters.  The pain is related to arthritis and weather changes.  For a while it was nice and warm and no problems.  Then the weather turned cool and rainy.  The pressure bottomed out and the arthritis kicked into overdrive.  Feet swollen, hands swollen, every joint is unhappy, including the jaws.  There have been days where getting out of the bed except for sitting on the edge of the bed for a couple of minutes.  Then there were nights of sleeping in the wheelchair.  This is not conducive for moving around and walking or exercising.  Not being able to do these things really annoys me since I am making good strides in the walking.  Pun intended 😜.

However, the arthritis eased up enough for me to work on the new laptop.  It is an HP, lightweight, and will also fit in the writing pirate writing bag.  This makes me happy.  The Husband has already installed an MMO for his entertainment.  He couldn’t wait until we had a laptop so he could play D&D online.  I tried to take a picture of him working at building a character for the game.  He was REALLY into the character creation process.

Now the arthritis is raging again and making me very annoyed because there are many things I would like to do tonight and tomorrow.  Monday there will be work come check or high water!  I’ve gone too far in the writing process to quit on it, but I will take this weekend off and rest my hands.

Thank You God, for helping someone create the tablet and stylus-ex.

About Henrietta Handy

I have returned home to the mountains. No more am I "a mountain-girl far from home." Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 2 1/2, I understand pain, fatigue, laughter, joy, and love all while on crutches and in wheelchairs. This blog is just about me, mostly the writing side, but there are forays into so many different topics. I am married to a wonderful husband who puts up with my writing, knitting, yarn, with the love of a saint. We have fur babies, and one cat who rules us all.
