Every Time I Turn Around There Is Something New…

There is something new to see or make notes of or read, etc!  Having a suddenly busy life isspring_bird_3_blue.png causing me to reorganize and reschedule in different ways.  I haven’t had to depend on a calendar so much in years!  And don’t get me started on time!  It became such a big issue for me recently I actually ordered a watch, a pocket watch I plan on wearing on a chain around my neck because my balance isn’t great enough to move my arms to check the time I’ve been standing.

Along with the work being done with Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy is a great amount of laughing.  I end up laughing at myself most of all because the nerves kick up and the therapist encourages, I try, and usually succeed, which makes me laugh.  When I laugh they do, too.  Who knew this stuff could be so much fun.  Real fun.  Not sarcastic fun.Even weather changes, which make me hurt regardless, aren’t dampening my spirits these days.  However, one thing has made me unhappy today:  WordPress.

I went to the “previous posts” or “all posts” section and there are 22 posts missing!  There aren’t any copies, drafts, etc, in the log.  Nothing.  Nada.  Zip.  Zilch.  You catch my drift?  Even though I, thankfully, kept document copies of said posts; so much time has passed between now and then I’m pretty sure there is no reason to re-post them.  They would be “cold”, so to speak.  Who wants to read “cold” material?  I don’t, and because I care about the blog and my readers I simply can’t imagine doing that to you all.  To help keep this from happening in the future I contacted WordPress and somewhere someone is supposed to be looking into this problem.  If it was only one time – no biggie, but this has happened twice.

This brings up a completely brings up the question of whether or not I should stay with WordPress.  I want to stay, and I simply can’t afford to purchase one of the themes in hopes this won’t happen again.  My Daddy always said, “You get what you pay for.”  WordPress, for me, has been the best medium in the blogosphere and I simply don’t want to move it somewhere else.  I will look into my options, of course and keep you all posted on everything.

Now, it is time for me to write a few more pages on said story so I’ll have more to type up tomorrow in between all the moving.

Here’s hoping today was great for you, and safe, and tomorrow is just as good or better!

About Henrietta Handy

I am a Kentucky mountain girl far from home, perhaps far from the girl years. I am an aspiring writer with a wonderful husband who puts up with this writing and reading addiction I have. He also puts up with all of the yarn and knitting. I have four canine children and a ton of friends I love dearly. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 2 1/2 and have still managed to have a good life despite all the pain. So, I invite you to join me in this journey and just possibly have fun along the way.
