Sad News And Absences

One of my beloved brothers-in-laws passed away this morning at 9:06 AM.  In growing up flowersrayI don’t remember my sister being separate, single, alone.  She was always with Ray.  From the time I understood what “sister” meant I likewise understood what “brother” meant because of him and Sister 2’s husband, N.

For the next little while there will be slice-of-life pieces and just rambling here on the blog.  There will be posts made from the Nook as well as from my cell phone.  I already shudder at the thought of the auto-correct errors that will pop up.

Right now I sincerely ask for your patience and, if you pray, please pray for me and my family.  If you believe in positive energy, please send it our way.

Always remember to hug the ones you love.

About Henrietta Handy

I am a Kentucky mountain girl far from home, perhaps far from the girl years. I am an aspiring writer with a wonderful husband who puts up with this writing and reading addiction I have. He also puts up with all of the yarn and knitting. I have four canine children and a ton of friends I love dearly. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 2 1/2 and have still managed to have a good life despite all the pain. So, I invite you to join me in this journey and just possibly have fun along the way.

  1. My condolences go to you and your family over the death of your brother-in-law. I will pray the Lord blesses you all with His healing balm.

I do strongly agree with you when you say to “remember to hug the ones you love.” You never know when they will be gone.
