Christopher Lee, Legendary Movie Villain and Horror Icon, Dies at 93

Christopher Lee, Legendary Movie Villain and Horror Icon, Dies at 93.

I was stunned when I read this.  A piece of my youth has fallen asleep and I am saddened.  How many Friday late nights did I sit up in the dark to watch these movies?  Quite a few.  I introduced my niece and nephew to them and was elated to discover my adoring husband loved these films, too.

Rest in peace Sir Christopher Lee.  You will be missed.  You have been, and will be forever cherished by us movie geeks.

About Henrietta Handy

I have returned home to the mountains. No more am I "a mountain-girl far from home." Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 2 1/2, I understand pain, fatigue, laughter, joy, and love all while on crutches and in wheelchairs. This blog is just about me, mostly the writing side, but there are forays into so many different topics. I am married to a wonderful husband who puts up with my writing, knitting, yarn, with the love of a saint. We have fur babies, and one cat who rules us all.

  1. Brian Bixby says:

I remember when we first got a TV that could receive UHF and so got to see many of those Hammer films during the early 1970s.
