Snow made its appearance here in Lexington today. It didn’t stick, but the sky looks heavy with snow and seems to be waiting on the perfect time to begin dumping it on us. Other areas of the nation have already received snow according to the news. Kentucky, thankfully, is one of those states who hardly ever receive the first snowfall of winter. This is one of the perks for living here; however, when it does snow, it seems to last forever. The gray day, though, has been great for getting the brain cells to work on the projects currently in the forge, so to speak.
The vampire/terrorist story has brought a new surprise to the mix. There is now a werewolf involved! Yeah, it was a surprise, but a good surprise because the heroine must now begin to discover what makes her so special to the vampire she is living with and what “the evil” is she is supposed to slay with the vampire’s help. Hopefully I will be able to put down more words on the story today before The Husband gets home.
Since it is past four in the afternoon, I am going to call it a break and play some Rift on-line. There are many outstanding quests needing to be completed before any more get taken on.
we’re waiting on snow here in East TN also. It has been a gray day. We are heading for the mountains for a reunion, so hope we don’t get stuck in the snow!
