Argentine dinosaur may shed light on huge beasts

Argentine dinosaur may shed light on huge beasts.  According to the article, this dinosaur was as big as seven bull elephants put together.  I am trying to wrap my head around this size.o-DREADNOUGHTUS-ILLUSTRATION-570

I have considered buildings that would be the correct size here in Lexington but, so far, have not found one that actually makes the size comparison.  According to The Husband the buildings I have chosen are either too big or too small.  I am curious to discover which local landmark or building to scale of the dinosaur.

As I was looking for artist renderings of what the Dreadnaughtus schrani looked like, this article had a good size calculation.

  1. Woah, that beastie was BIG. As you say, hard to even get your head round the idea of a creature that size.
