National Lasagna Day

Balloons-ImageNational Lasagna Day with Olazzo’s – DC News FOX 5 DC WTTG.

This made my mouth water at the thought of fresh, home-made lasagna!

My favorite lasagna is my sister’s.  J’s lasagna is always meaty and delicious with just the right amount of sauce.  I don’t like “drippy” lasagna and her’s is just perfect.

One of my favorite memories is of her baking a lasagna for me for my birthday.  The entire house smelled of Italy and love, because she had also baked me a chocolate birthday cake, too.  Sometimes being the youngest in the family isn’t so bad.

Do you have a favorite lasagna memory?
