The First PostFrom My New Nook Tablet

I am beyond thrilled to have my new tablet thanks to my wonderful husband! He gave it to me Friday while we were out at Barnes and Nobles.  Yes, there was much squeeing involved and happiness.

I played with it a good chunk Friday night and very little yesterday because I completely ran out of energy and was forced by my body to rest even though I didn’t want to.  Today was a complete down day where I slept many hours.  Tomorrow will, hopefully be better.

Having something light enough to work with while sitting in the living room beside my husband while he plays a game feels like a new freedom has been given to me. Blogging while out and about has now been given to me.

Having a tool that helps me write, take notes, and organize thoughts when it’s impossible to write with pen and paper – such as riding the bus and Wheels – when inspiration strikes, is invaluable!

About Henrietta Handy

I have returned home to the mountains. No more am I "a mountain-girl far from home." Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 2 1/2, I understand pain, fatigue, laughter, joy, and love all while on crutches and in wheelchairs. This blog is just about me, mostly the writing side, but there are forays into so many different topics. I am married to a wonderful husband who puts up with my writing, knitting, yarn, with the love of a saint. We have fur babies, and one cat who rules us all.

Toys are good for the spirit, and I have often envied the convenience of a tablet.
