George Thorogood And Word Counts

Today has been an excellent writing day!  Chapter 3 is down at 2,569 with a grand total of 7,776.  Chapter 3 was mostly new scenes, the ending one georgethorogood1especially.  WHRT’s bodyguard was enlisted to take the hero home in an “Old School Charger” with George Thorogood’s “Bad to the Bone” blasting from the speakers.  Yeah, it is old school.  Yeah, you  expect that sort of music to come out of the speakers with a biker/gear-head driving the car dressed in a black leather coat and cowboy hat.  I love my ginger giant bodyguard.  I even read the scene I ended the chapter with to The Husband on the phone I was so excited with it and he laughed and said it was really good and he liked it.

Have made notes for tomorrow and am now heading out of the ink mines for the night.  Now I am going to work on my Super Spectacular Purse Of Summer.  After supper, of course.  Yes, there must be foods.  Foods would be most appreciated by my tummy.

About Henrietta Handy

I have returned home to the mountains. No more am I "a mountain-girl far from home." Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 2 1/2, I understand pain, fatigue, laughter, joy, and love all while on crutches and in wheelchairs. This blog is just about me, mostly the writing side, but there are forays into so many different topics. I am married to a wonderful husband who puts up with my writing, knitting, yarn, with the love of a saint. We have fur babies, and one cat who rules us all.
