Today has definitely been a Monday as in I actually tried to pick up working and reading and being as productive as possible. Today was a successful Monday, which is what I needed to get working again.

Most of the writing today was research notes while watching a couple of documentaries on Netflix for the novel and story now in the works. Reading up on these documentaries is a little difficult because several of the books I need are going to be gotten through inter-library loan. The only problem is that the librarian I spoke with today was not super-interested, or even mildly interested in helping me get a couple of books. Tomorrow is another day and hopefully when I call back to the main branch of the public library I will be speaking to someone else, someone who will be interested in helping me get some reading material.

Along with the documentaries, I have also begun playing Red Dead Redemption. Loving it!

With the serious reading there is also some fluff. I am probably going to start the second Sabina Kane novel, or 12 Years a Slave tonight. It is silly, I know, but I am SO leaning toward the Sabina Kane novel. There is just something about that universe that makes me smile and draws me in deeper. Decisions, darn it.

As you may have noticed, I am feeling better! Even if I am not “well” from the Alien Death Plague I am better. This is something yours truly can live with.

Now, back to reading some serious stuff before calling it a day.

About Henrietta Handy

I have returned home to the mountains. No more am I "a mountain-girl far from home." Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 2 1/2, I understand pain, fatigue, laughter, joy, and love all while on crutches and in wheelchairs. This blog is just about me, mostly the writing side, but there are forays into so many different topics. I am married to a wonderful husband who puts up with my writing, knitting, yarn, with the love of a saint. We have fur babies, and one cat who rules us all.
