Watching It Snow

Today has been a Pain Day. Luckily it has not been a Hell Day. Thank You, God! Because the body has not felt so wonderful and because the Xbox is downloading a free game and the computer is downloading an update, there hasn’t been very much for me to do except write and hang out with the dogs.

So far the writing has been…interesting to say the very least. I am not sure where this current piece is going or even if I want it to continue. Part of me just wants to quit because I cannot see an ending. If I quit I will never know what happens or help it find its conclusion, which, as you know, is very important for telling a story.

Maybe it is the snow that keeps falling in fits and starts, and sometimes very earnestly, that has me in such a contemplative mood (along with the pain). Delving into other worlds and possibilities is one of the greatest joys of my life and I cannot see, for the life of me, where this particular story is going, especially since there are two other pieces I need to work on and get done.

Speaking of snow…. Did you know that the Whos live on a snowflake?

About Henrietta Handy

I have returned home to the mountains. No more am I "a mountain-girl far from home." Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 2 1/2, I understand pain, fatigue, laughter, joy, and love all while on crutches and in wheelchairs. This blog is just about me, mostly the writing side, but there are forays into so many different topics. I am married to a wonderful husband who puts up with my writing, knitting, yarn, with the love of a saint. We have fur babies, and one cat who rules us all.
