The Husband did not make it into work today because he is still fighting the horrible crud.  He is sleeping now, and I do believe this is the best thing for him.  Maybe he can sleep the last of this sick away.  Thankfully it is the weekend so he has a better chance of sleeping until he wakes up naturally, which is even better.

Me, on the other hand, I am feeling pretty good.  There is the normal amount of pain with a few pretty good twinges going up to the rafters, but this is, sadly normal.  The crud is leaving me and letting me have enough strength to pick up my pen again and return happily to the ink mines.

The handwritten short story I am working on has progressed nicely while WHRT has waited patiently for my return.  The short story has progressed nicely and has shown me a couple of curves I wasn’t anticipating, but that do work well with the over-all plot of the story itself.

Short story progress =          49 pages total so far

Have a good weekend all.  Hope those who are doing NaNoWriMo are keeping up their word counts with much ease; and for those doing NaBloPoMo like me – keep posting my fellow bloggers!  Keep posting!

About Henrietta Handy

I have returned home to the mountains. No more am I "a mountain-girl far from home." Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 2 1/2, I understand pain, fatigue, laughter, joy, and love all while on crutches and in wheelchairs. This blog is just about me, mostly the writing side, but there are forays into so many different topics. I am married to a wonderful husband who puts up with my writing, knitting, yarn, with the love of a saint. We have fur babies, and one cat who rules us all.
