You know, when I was in my 20’s, thinking about what my life would be like when I was in my 30’s, this is not what I imagined.

Well, not completely. There’s a lot of things that are close to what I thought they would be, and some things that are…well, not close at all. Pretty much nothing is spot on to what I imagined a decade or so ago.

For instance, I thought I’d have a house. In my thinking about the future, I had a house. I can’t tell you what the outside looked like, because I never decided. But the inside was spacious, two stories, and the center of the house was a huge open living room with a small second floor loft type area that I had an office in. I am a Kentucky mountain girl far from home, perhaps far from the girl years. I am an aspiring writer with a wonderful husband who puts up with this writing and reading addiction I have. He also puts up with all of the yarn and knitting. I have four canine children and a ton of friends I love dearly.
