It’s April 2011

It is a new month.  April.  Wow.  A lot happened in March around the world.  Looking at my life so little has truly happened in comparison, yet what has happened has changed my life and my world tremendously, like my husband’s hours getting cut back to 24 hours per week.  This is massive in the grand scheme of things for me and him.  It affects everything we do.  Everything

It affects what foods we buy, how we pay our bills, what bills we pay and when.  It causes us to decide whether or not we keep certain little luxuries like Internet and cable and if so how we do it.  Instead of going to Barnes & Noble to do research I’ll be going to the University of Kentucky library instead most of the time now and will only be indulging myself with a wonderful cafe’ mocha very rarely.

A new month has begun, though.  Hopefully with it, along with spring showers and warmer weather, there will be positive things for me and my husband, good health for us and our friends, and we can help those close to us who need help, and we can be happy and so can those we love and that love us.  Positivity is what the world needs now along with love and action.

About Henrietta Handy

I have returned home to the mountains. No more am I "a mountain-girl far from home." Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 2 1/2, I understand pain, fatigue, laughter, joy, and love all while on crutches and in wheelchairs. This blog is just about me, mostly the writing side, but there are forays into so many different topics. I am married to a wonderful husband who puts up with my writing, knitting, yarn, with the love of a saint. We have fur babies, and one cat who rules us all.
