Trying to get the world moving into some sort of proper direction after such a sorrowful time is difficult. Today was not quite as successful as I had hoped. Tomorrow, I am hoping, will be better. To this end I have returned to making the age-old TO DO LIST. It has never failed me in the past. Here’s to hoping it will not fail me now.
There is a lot to get done this week. Hubby and I are celebrating Christmas with friends this Saturday and I must still knit like the wind to finish up some things (still hopeful on that front). Thursday I have to venture out into the cold to pick up some Thank You Cards for all the sweet and kind sympathy cards we have received, and I just need to get out for a while myself. Hopefully I am not being too selfish there. Plus, there are a ton of chores that need done in order to get the house back in order and I need the house to be set to rights for my own piece of mind as well as Hubby’s.
I did make some New Year’s Resolutions this year. Only six.
- Get stronger.
- Keep the house better.
- Cook more.
- Do well with my Avon.
- Write more letters & send more cards.
- Get out more.
This seems like a good list. I can accomplish this list. All of the other things, write more, get in shape, be happier, are all in there, just condensed. Everything needs to be condensed this year. Does that make sense? I hope it does.
One step at a time. One movement at a time. Right?
